About The Position

This is a part-time position (29 hours per week) assisting audiologists in conducting student hearing screenings throughout the district. Hearing screening training will be provided. The role requires assisting audiologists in conducting screenings and assessments, operating audiology equipment under supervision, assisting with classroom modifications for hearing needs, and collaborating with various educational professionals. The position also involves sanitizing and storing equipment, ensuring proper hygiene with hearing devices, and performing other assigned duties. Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent

  • Travel to various school sites as assigned to assist in the student hearing screenings
  • Work flexible work hours as required
  • Regular on time attendance required
  • Ability to maintain confidentially
  • Ability to operate general office machines
  • Ability to work well with students and staff; good verbal and written communication skills
  • Perform other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit
  • Frequent interaction with students, teachers, audiologists, and other support staff
  • Travel to various school sites as assigned to assist in the student hearing screenings
  • The day can shift from calm observation to active student engagement and equipment troubleshooting
  • Ability to move between classrooms, bend, kneel, and sit at child-level for extended periods
  • Occasionally lift or carry equipment (up to ~25 lbs)

Responsibilities
