About The Position
The Instructional Aide at the Walter Ambrose Family Center will assist classroom teachers in the instructional process. This role involves reinforcing instruction to individual or small groups of students, preparing instructional materials, implementing lesson plans, and providing routine support. The aide will also assist students with academic and/or physical needs to ensure they can access the educational environment.
Requirements
- Minimum of (60) sixty college hours. Does not need to be in early childhood or related field.
Responsibilities
- Assist teachers with instruction of students in the classroom
- Assist teachers as needed (i.e., keeping the students engaged in the learning process)
- Assist at rest time hours as assigned
- Opportunities for summer work
- Other duties as assigned
