About The Position

The Instructional Aide (PE) position is a paraprofessional role supporting educational activities at Montana Vista Elementary. This position is for the 2026-2027 school year and involves working with children, communicating effectively, and utilizing computer systems. The role requires adherence to ESSA standards and obtaining a Texas Educational Aide Certificate upon hire.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Completed two (2) years of study at an institution of higher education (48 college credit hours) OR Associate's degree (or higher)
• Must apply and obtain a Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate (UPON HIRE)
• Ability to work well with children
• Ability to communicate effectively
• Ability to work well under supervision
• Ability to use computer and be familiar with word, excel, access, and e-mail systems
