About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking an Institutional Intern to join their Institutional Client Management Team to provide client and prospect support. CAPTRUST interns must maintain professional and ethical standards, be well organized, service oriented, and capable of performing under tight deadlines. Obtaining course credit may also be possible, depending on the student’s program approval. Hours will be flexible based on school schedule. Completion of an internship may lead to, but does not guarantee, future full-time employment. Requirements

  • Actively pursuing Undergraduate/Graduate degree; rising Junior or Senior
  • Significant interest in the workings of investment advisory firm

  • All School of Business Majors (Accounting, Finance, Economics, Financial planning, or Taxation (preferred)
  • Strong critical thinker who is a strong self-starter
  • High-level proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Excellent communication and writing skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented and able to multitask with proven ability to plan and achieve results
  • Demonstrate highest personal ethics and integrity
  • Ability to maintain absolute confidentiality of information

Responsibilities

  • Support Audit work for plan document archives
  • Support Client Management Consultant is generating Quarterly reports for Investment Committees
  • Coordinating research requests for Research initiatives
  • Facilitating certain model reports
  • Attending client investment committee meetings to observe (upon invitation from advisor)
  • Attending Participant Advice sessions with our plan advisors to observe participant meetings
  • Work closely with financial advisors, client service, and peers on the Client Management Team
