About The Position

Wells Fargo is seeking an Institutional Investment Operations Associate within the Security Product Data & Configuration team as a part of Corporate Investment Banking Operations. In this role, you will manage the accurate and timely setup, maintenance, and exception processing of global product reference data across multiple asset classes, including fixed income, equities, structured products, and listed derivatives. You will prioritize and manage a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment, consistently meeting deadlines and escalating issues appropriately when needed. You will also identify and implement process improvement opportunities that enhance operational efficiency, strengthen controls, reduce risk, and improve client service. Additionally, you will maintain and steward Security Master data, ensuring data quality and supporting clients through the investigation and resolution of product lifecycle events. You will analyze complex data issues raised by internal and external stakeholders, collaborate across teams to identify root causes, and develop both tactical and strategic solutions. You will research, investigate, and resolve data exceptions identified through control processes, ensuring timely and accurate updates within Security Master and Broadridge systems, including interest/accrual breaks and vendor reconciliation discrepancies. You will partner with key stakeholders across Front Office Sales & Trading, Syndicate Operations, Middle Office, Clearance, Settlements, Asset Servicing, Market Risk, Technology, Tax Operations, and Finance to ensure operational accuracy, provide subject matter expertise, and support regulatory and business initiatives. You will adhere to risk management standards by maintaining procedures, executing effective controls, and ensuring compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Institutional Investment Operations experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products, reference data management, and securities across multiple asset classes
