May maintain the highest credit rating within the office and involved in the initial assessment process for new credits, subsequent credit approval discussions, and the management of the workflow. Responsible for ensuring all credit processes are adequate, including the timely completion of credit requests, past due management, credit quality goals, problem credit management and CRA/PRM compliance. Depending on credit and market needs, may also have some responsibility for client contact and revenue enhancement. Manages and leads a staff of portfolio managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10 or more years of banking experience
  • Five or more years of management experience

Responsibilities

  • Maintain the highest credit rating within the office.
  • Involved in the initial assessment process for new credits.
  • Involved in subsequent credit approval discussions.
