About The Position

This position is for a Local 137 Apprentice responsible for safely installing production material on various advertising products, ensuring safety procedures are followed, inspecting and reporting site issues, performing site maintenance, and utilizing company equipment for work instructions and data input. The role also involves standard warehousing activities and performing other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, or military experience.
Minimum one year of related work experience (e.g., light/medium construction, work in a delivery-type role)
Climbing structures (up to 100 feet or higher) is required.
Capable of utilizing mobile platforms to perform day-to-day tracking of work tasks, reporting issues, taking photographs, completing forms, and inputting hours worked.
Competent in Microsoft Outlook mail.
Is highly disciplined with ability to follow instructions, both written and verbal
Ability to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
Valid driver’s license, CDL Class preferred.
Access to a reliable vehicle.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required.

Responsibilities

Safely installs production material on bulletins, posters, and other advertising products (e.g., vinyl products on billboards).
Ensures proper safety and incident procedures are followed.
Inspects site and reports any issues such as tree blockage or structure issues via mobile platform (i.e., iOS or Android).
Maintain sites, trim trees and shrubs, paint signs, clear debris, etc.
Reports any landlord issues or complaints.
Uses company-issued equipment and systems to review work instructions and input data after job is completed.
Takes photographs of completed job as needed.
Performs standard warehousing activities (e.g., receiving, shipping, etc.) as they pertain to billboard copy material, billboard components, and other equipment.
Other duties as assigned or requested.
