About The Position

Subzero Engineering is hiring a traveling Installer to install hot and cold aisle containment systems in mission-critical data center environments throughout Arizona and surrounding states. The role is intended for candidates based in Arizona who are comfortable traveling frequently to customer sites. Installers serve as company representatives on customer job sites and work with an Installation Lead to complete installation assignments accurately and on time. Work includes measuring, drilling, assembling, and installing containment systems; following multi-step instructions; troubleshooting installation issues; and maintaining assigned tools and equipment. The position requires adherence to customer and company safety requirements, confidentiality, and professional conduct. The employee must complete OSHA 10 and company-provided installation training and be willing and able to travel extensively. Compensation is $24.00–$25.00 per hour, plus daily per diem and paid lunches. The position is hourly and non-exempt.

Requirements

Experience working on construction sites.
Experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Experience operating forklifts and/or scissor lifts.
Experience using hand tools, power tools, drills, and tape measures.
Installation, assembly, mechanical, manufacturing, carpentry, electrical, welding, or related trade experience.
Ability to travel regularly throughout Arizona and neighboring states.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Ability to follow directions and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong commitment to safety.
Willingness and ability to travel extensively.
Ability to bend, lift heavy equipment, crawl, kneel, twist, reach, continuously use hands and fingers, work in confined spaces, and stand and walk for extended periods.
Ability to travel and work at customer project sites as required.
