About The Position

This role involves preparing, loading, delivering, and installing multiple deliveries for clients. The Installer will also complete occasional warehouse tasks, such as receiving and preparing plants and containers for delivery. They will load service vehicles with care, schedule delivery details with clients, and deliver replacement materials as needed. The Installer will regularly drive a delivery van/truck in various settings, maintain living green walls, and plant containers and beds. A key responsibility is preventing damage to surrounding areas during installation. The role also includes delivering and installing scenting and air purification equipment, being available for occasional after-hours project work (e.g., large tree delivery or replacement in shopping malls), performing some outdoor/exterior work, and assisting with holiday decoration installations and removals.

Requirements

• Experience interacting with clients.
• Regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Able to safely climb ladders and work on ladders up to 12 ft.
• Experience using pruners, scissors, and other sharp objects.
• Experience using drills, saws, and other power tools.
• Must possess a valid driver's license from the state of residence.

Nice To Haves

• Experience caring for plants is preferred.
• Lift certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, load, deliver, and install multiple deliveries to clients.
• Complete occasional warehouse tasks including plant receiving and preparation.
• Protect plants and containers for delivery.
• Load service vehicle and exercise care in delivering plants and hardgoods to customer sites.
• Schedule delivery details/arrangements as required by the client.
• Deliver replacement materials to customer sites as required.
• Regularly drive a delivery type van/truck in urban and rural settings.
• Maintain plants and hardware components of living green walls at various heights.
• Plant containers, vases, and planter beds with a wide variety of plants.
• Prevent damage to surrounding floors, walls, carpet, furniture, etc. during installation service.
• Deliver and install scenting and air purification equipment as necessary.
• Be available for occasional 'after-hour' project work.
• Perform some outdoor/exterior work.
• Assist on holiday decoration installations.
• Assist on the removal of holiday decorations as needed.
