About The Position
Duval Ford Fleet is seeking experienced Installers to perform vehicle outfitting and up-fitting services. This role involves the installation and removal of various equipment on vehicles.
Requirements
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
- Ability to access confined spaces.
- Knowledge of vehicle wiring.
- Ability to identify electrical circuits.
- Ability to communicate well with others.
- Ability to work on and see small objects.
- Good hearing and color vision.
- Must be prompt and prepared to work.
- Must be able to pass all pre-employment testing including background checks, motor vehicle check, and pre-employment drug test.
- Must be able to present a valid driver's license.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Experience with installation of emergency lighting.
- Emergency Vehicle Technician (EVT) certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform vehicle outfitting and up-fitting services.
- Install and remove equipment such as lightbars, sirens, speakers, consoles, laptop mounts, push bumpers, LED lighting, prisoner cages, and gun racks.
