About The Position
Maintain and service communications equipment and systems in an Integrated Communications Inc. Service Center or at a customer site, which includes limited testing, repairing, modifying, and installing.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of audio, RF, digital, and microprocessor electronic circuits found in communications equipment.
- Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Ability to operate fixed and adjustable measuring and testing equipment.
- Ability to use hand and power tools.
- Ability to be available for emergency work at any time of day or night.
Responsibilities
- Performing functional and 'on-the-air' test of communication equipment.
- Repairing customer units by replacing defective modules or components.
- Making minor modifications to electronic circuitry per customer requests and/or factory updates.
- Installing communications and parts as necessary.
- Communicating with customer, installers, and/or area field technical representatives.
- Operate company owned vehicles.
