About The Position
HouseSmart's Installer IV role is for a team member knowledgeable in all aspects of the setup process for single and multi-section homes. This is a hands-on opportunity to own all construction tasks on the jobsite and assist with the training and quality check of others. This role collaborates with the Crew Chief to ensure project efficiency and smoothness.
Requirements
- 4+ years of various residential, commercial, or industrial construction experience.
- Technical expertise in areas of construction such as masonry, roofing, etc.
- Enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors.
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with leaders to problem solve.
- Positive attitude and a team player.
- Experience operating heavy machinery such as a skid-steer, tractor, backhoe, or a front-end loader.
- Desire to operate specialized heavy equipment.
- Comfortable with heights (using/safely climbing a ladder) and crawl spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Take pride in work, focusing on high quality and safety.

Responsibilities
- Work efficiently and effectively in all aspects of the setup process, with the ability to work with a team or independently.
- Prep and clean jobsites.
- Perform roofing tasks.
- Perform basic masonry.
- Perform various high-level electrical and plumbing tasks.
- Safely learn to operate and eventually lead and own the operation of specialty heavy equipment.
- Answer questions and help support the team’s growth.
- Train new hires and Crew Chiefs in Training on the technical skills of the role.
- Problem-solve and proactively provide solutions to problems throughout any home install.
