About The Position
HouseSmart Construction is seeking an Installer II to be a key player in the setup of manufactured homes. This role involves working with a Crew Chief and team to ensure homes are set up safely and efficiently. The position offers opportunities to learn new technical skills through training and development.
Requirements
- General construction experience.
- Enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors.
- Willingness to learn and grow career.
- Comfortable with heights (and using a ladder) and crawl spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Positive attitude and team player mentality.
- Proficient with hand/power tools such as hammers, levels, drills, and an impact wrench.
Nice To Haves
- New hires will be trained on installing vapor barriers.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the Crew Chief and team with safely setting up the manufactured home.
- Quickly and independently owning various construction tasks needed to set up the home.
- Installing vapor barriers.
- Leveling and bolting floors and walls.
- Anchoring walls.
- Performing basic masonry work.
- Assisting with electrical and plumbing crossovers.
- Assisting with bonding wires and repairing bottom board.
- Helping new team members develop and learn new skills safely.
- Partnering with the Crew Chief to understand daily tasks.
