About The Position
HouseSmart Construction is seeking an Installer I for a hands-on, outdoor position. This role is ideal for someone with a can-do attitude who wants to learn and grow in the construction industry. No experience is required to start a construction career with HouseSmart Construction. The Installer I will assist with the setup of all manufactured homes, work as a team player, remove shipping wrap, store exterior items, remove tires, axles, and tongues (which can weigh up to 50 lbs), travel to home sites to assist with construction activities, load and unload materials, organize tools and trucks, help install vapor barriers, gather materials for piers, and help build them, and perform masonry work underneath homes.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with your hands and being outdoors
- Interested in starting a career in construction
- Ability to climb ladders, crawl underneath homes and lift up to 50 lbs
- Positive attitude and always work to be a team player
- Comfortable with the use of hand/power tools such as hammers, levels, drills and an impact wrench

Responsibilities
- Helping with the setup of all manufactured homes
- Work as a team player by helping the Crew Chief and team
- Remove protective shipping wrap from home
- Remove and properly store exterior use items like shingles under the leadership of our experienced team members
- Work with the team to help remove tires, axles, and tongues which can weigh up to 50 lbs
- Travel to each home site and assist the team necessary construction activities
- Load and unload materials, and keeping the tools & trucks organized
- Help installer vapor barriers beneath the home
- Gather materials for beginning piers and help build them
- Masonry work underneath the homes
