Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 5 years of experience in servicing and installing fire alarm systems with a primary focus on Edwards EST panels
- Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing systems, as well as programming new panels for installation and system upgrades
- Certification with EST3/EST4/FireWorks/Networking
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Responsibilities
- Install fire alarm systems
- Ensure equipment is functional and operational
- Replace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.
- Interact professionally with customers.
- Each team member will be required to work on ladders to install cabling and trim devices.
- Work closely with electricians, network specialists, and other trades during the construction process to ensure coordination of installation activities
- Follow all safety regulations and procedures while on the job site.
- Ensure that work is done safely, particularly when handling tools and electrical components
- Assist in maintaining accurate installation records, including the routing and labeling of cables, installed devices, and system configurations
- Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards for quality and safety, following detailed blueprints and project specifications
