Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years of experience in servicing and installing fire alarm systems with a primary focus on Edwards EST panels
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining existing systems, as well as programming new panels for installation and system upgrades
  • Certification with EST3/EST4/FireWorks/Networking
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

  • Install fire alarm systems
  • Ensure equipment is functional and operational
  • Replace system components as assigned; panels, audible/visual alarms, etc.
  • Interact professionally with customers.
  • Each team member will be required to work on ladders to install cabling and trim devices.
  • Work closely with electricians, network specialists, and other trades during the construction process to ensure coordination of installation activities
  • Follow all safety regulations and procedures while on the job site.
  • Ensure that work is done safely, particularly when handling tools and electrical components
  • Assist in maintaining accurate installation records, including the routing and labeling of cables, installed devices, and system configurations
  • Ensure that all installations meet company and industry standards for quality and safety, following detailed blueprints and project specifications
