About The Position

Envirotrol is a leading HVAC sales and service company in the southeastern United States seeking a Project/Install Technician. This role involves installing and servicing various equipment, contributing to project success, and working both independently and as part of a team. The technician will maintain tools and equipment, adhere to high installation standards and safety protocols, follow project plans, and keep accurate records. Flexibility for extended shifts and out-of-town work is required. EAS is a leading HVAC Volumetric Modular Manufacturer and the #1 Mechanical Contractor in the Southeastern United States, skilled in on-site and off-site systems, and modular facilities for mission-critical sectors. Envirotrol specializes in DDC and PLC Building Automation and HVAC/R mechanical services in the Carolinas, serving large international corporations and facilities in sectors like Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Industrial Manufacturing, Power Generation, and Mission Critical Data Centers.

Requirements

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all customers, vendors and co-workers
  • Understanding of electrical schematics
  • Comprehension of refrigeration cycle
  • Basic knowledge of low voltage
  • Must be able to operate hand tools and powered tools safely
  • Must be proficient at soldering and brazing copper
  • Must be able to work on ladders, elevated platforms, boom lifts, and scaffolding
  • You will need a great attitude and an appetite for learning and wanting to grow in this business.
  • Must have at least five years of installation experience.
  • Must have high school diploma or GED
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Must have CFC Universal Refrigerant Certification
