The Foundation Technician performs maintenance functions in technical, construction, and laboratory environments using Promera approved methods.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required
Ability to read, write, and speak English proficiently (grade 5 level), required
Ariel & Scissor Lift certification required
Ladder certification required.
OSHA 10 certification required
Ability to conduct themselves properly in a business environment
Strong customer service orientation
Results oriented and proactive
Ability to multi-task, be flexible and adapt to change
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate well with others and to follow instructions

Responsibilities

Physically vacuum, sweep, mop, scrub, clean and chemically treat physical surfaces within a technical or construction work environment.
Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions; mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
Clean windows, glass partitions, mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners.
Steam clean or shampoo carpets.
Dust furniture, walls, machines, or equipment.
Move heavy furniture, equipment, or supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
Responsible to use materials and equipment in a safe manner under the direction of senior technicians and supervisors.
Completes work assignments efficiently, and professionally to Promera's and the customer's expectations.
Assists fellow crew members in completion of assigned tasks.
Responsible to follow all job requirements and safety rules.
Perform other duties as assigned.
