About The Position

CSTK Inc., a national provider of transportation services and an authorized Thermo King dealer, is seeking a full-time first shift Lead Transport Refrigeration Installer in the Morgantown PA location. Transport Refrigeration installers are responsible for installing refrigeration units, both in our Morgan location and other locations as needed. Specific duties include performing complete unit installations, repairing leaks in refrigeration systems, diagnosing and repairing electrical components specific to transport refrigeration units, installing fuel tanks, installing batteries, telematics devices, solar panels and other duties as needed. A lead installer may be asked to travel to other locations to assist in training and share best practices, the role will include assisting peers in installing units properly, customer facing conversations and answering questions regarding specific units and functions, answering questions regarding invoicing, among other duties as assigned. The lead installer role will also include having a thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and assisting in compliance among the group at all times. This position could include exposure to seasonal heat and cold, working with grease and fluids, long periods of standing, squatting, and uneven terrain. This position will require high levels of responsibility and will involve proactive daily communication with both customers and supervisors to ensure all needs are met and to determine schedules. Flexibility with schedule and ability to be at work on time and lead others, along with the ability to accomplish required tasks productively with minimal supervision are requirements of the position. Base shift hours for the position will be 7am – 3:30pm Monday – Friday.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of new HVAC equipment installation and/or mechanical repair experience
Working knowledge of diesel engine, refrigeration components and electrical systems
Minor diesel engine diagnosis and repairs
HVAC training / transport refrigeration training
Must have 608 & 609 certifications or the ability to obtain them in the first 90 days
Familiarity with installation, troubleshooting & repairing of HVAC units or transport refrigeration units
Experience using refrigeration gauges, vacuum pumps, scales and other equipment
Soldering skills and/or experience
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain necessary license upon hire
Must have reliable transportation
Must have ability to work overtime as position may require
Must have basic computer skills and familiarity with operating e-mails / sending photos from mobile phone, etc.
Must have a complete set of quality hand tools and battery powered tools
Must be able to stand, kneel, and crouch for long periods, climb ladders and lift in excess of 50 pounds either with or without reasonable accommodation
Flexibility with schedule
Ability to be at work on time and lead others
Ability to accomplish required tasks productively with minimal supervision
