Installation Technician II
About The Position
As a Security Installation Technician II, you will be responsible for advanced installations, system upgrades, and complex troubleshooting. This role requires a high level of expertise and leadership in security system installation and maintenance. You will lead the installation and commissioning of sophisticated security systems and integrations, perform advanced troubleshooting and repairs on complex security systems, and provide expert guidance to clients on system operation and best practices. You will also ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards, and prepare detailed reports and documentation for installations and service calls. Other job-related duties may be assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3-5 years of experience in security system installation or a related field.
- Advanced technical knowledge of security systems and network integration.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to mentor and train others.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A Sense of humor, creativity, and positive attitude
- Must have a current, valid driver's license in the state of which you are applying and have the ability to meet our company driving standards.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced certifications (e.g., CSAA, ASIS) preferred in 1 – 2 product lines or professional credentials
- Experience with high-security installations and complex system integrations.
- Certification in 1 – 2 product lines
Responsibilities
