About The Position

The Install Technician I is responsible for proficiently installing insulation materials in various structures while ensuring adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project specifications. This is a full-time hourly position that is eligible for overtime. There is fast growth potential, with high-performers able to advance to Tech 2 or Crew Lead within 6 months.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with various insulation materials, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a team environment.
• Requires proficiency in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
• Must be able to climb ladders, enter crawl spaces, and move up and down stairs safely.

Responsibilities

• Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific areas according to blueprints or specifications.
• Install insulation materials, such as fiberglass, foam, or cellulose, in walls, ceilings, floors, and attics.
• Seal insulation in place using staples, adhesive, or other securing methods to ensure proper coverage and effectiveness.
• Install roof vents in attic spaces to ensure proper ventilation and optimize insulation performance.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling insulation materials and equipment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to minimize hazards and facilitate efficient workflow.
• Perform routine maintenance on insulation equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Perform additional tasks as required.
