About The Position
As an Installation Support Tech, you will provide technical support at any of our brick and mortar, mobile, or on-site locations. You will help with paint-protection film installations and other shop functions. XPEL installs automotive protection products such as paint protection film, window tinting, and ceramic coatings.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have a current and valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to comfortably and safely drive high-end vehicles
- Adherence to deadlines
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
- Unrestricted work authorization in the US
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Must be able to lift 45 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Prepare orders
- Stock shelves with various six boxes of film
- Inspect incoming vehicles for existing damage
- Final finish work on installations (e.g., wrapping and sealing edges of installed film)
- Washing and drying vehicles after installation is complete
- Transport vehicles to and from the dealership
- Keep the shop picked up, organized and clean
- Help prepare parts for application
- Clean/wipe down vehicles to prepare them for application and delivery
- Assist the team with day-to-day tasks
- Assist with monthly inventory
- Keep towels laundered
- Cut kits
- Perform final inspections and bubble checks on outgoing vehicles
- Porter clients as needed
