Installation Superintendent
About The Position
KONE is a global leader in elevators, escalators, and automatic building doors, focused on improving the flow of urban life. The Installation Superintendent will manage local installation operations in Austin, TX, leading a team on construction sites with multiple subcontractors. This role requires a strong understanding of code requirements and building systems, experience working with general contractors, and effective resource management. The ideal candidate will have a passion for safety, quality, and innovation, and a desire to foster a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant construction expertise.
- Supervisory experience, ideally leading a union-represented workforce.
- Familiarity and comfort in leading a team on a construction site with multiple subcontractors.
- Professional experience where implementing and monitoring safety guidelines has been a top priority.
- Success in effectively managing a schedule and tracking team's overall performance.
- Ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization to achieve business goals.
- Appetite for learning and leveraging new technologies.
- Understanding of code requirements and building systems knowledge.
- Familiarity in working with general contractors.
- Associate degree in a related field or additional years of experience.
