About The Position

The Installation Services Manager is accountable for the overall performance of the Installation Team, including fostering individual development, maintaining clear performance expectations, and administering performance management actions, up to and including termination. The role partners closely with Installation Services Team Leads to strengthen leadership capabilities and support team development. The Manager oversees daily installation workflow, including queue monitoring, quoting accuracy, ETA and order date oversight, warranty coordination, and invoice resolution in partnership with Field Install Managers. The role also includes large-scope project oversight, new installer onboarding, and collaboration with training staff and the Director of Installation Services to build team capacity and support hiring efforts.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of supervisory or management experience, including hiring, performance management, corrective action, and employee separations.
  • Proficiency in handling paperwork, billing, and documentation related to installation jobs.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Administer performance management processes, including issuing verbal and written warnings and partnering with HR and the Director of Installation Services on employee discipline, up to and including termination.
  • Lead hiring efforts for the Installation Team, including candidate screening, interviewing, selection, and offer coordination in collaboration with the Director.
  • Monitor SVC Installation and related queues daily.
  • Partner with Field Install Managers to assist in processing and resolving disputed invoices or contractor delays.
  • Assist in the warranty process for installed parts.
  • Maintain acceptable turnaround times on quoting and communication with installers and the Sales Team.
  • Oversee accuracy of estimated time of arrival dates, order dates, and expired open purchase orders.
  • Support onboarding of new installers, including review of COI and subcontractor agreements and implementation of pricing.
  • Oversee large-scope projects, including contract quote and template reviews and master quote entry.
  • Conduct quarterly one-on-ones and team meetings with the Installation Team.
  • Collaborate with trainers to facilitate role-specific training for new employees.
