About The Position

Asher Lasting Exteriors has been the leader in exterior home remodeling for 50 years in the Chippewa Valley. We represent premium brands in each respective product segment such as Renewal by Andersen Windows, Pro Via Entry Doors, Gutter Helmet, and Sunesta Retractable Awnings. The yearly salary will start at $70,000 with opportunity to earn monthly incentives.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in the home improvement industry or other closely related field
  • Knowledge of applicable building codes and construction techniques
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
  • Ability to work comfortably on a ladder extending to heights reaching 30’ or structure roof
  • Must be able to work outside year-round in all weather conditions
  • Physical Abilities (up to 100% of day) – Exerting up to 50-100 pounds regularly, Extra help for loads over 100lbs, Climbing, Repetitive Motions, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Fingering, Grasping, Feeling, Walk and stand on uneven surfaces without pain, Repetitious cutting without pain, Ascend and descend ladders without pain, No fear of heights

Responsibilities

  • Managing the installation of customer projects from the technical measure through installation completion.
  • Ensuring projects are completed to the highest quality standards from start to finish.
  • Performing project planning, scheduling, measuring, and crew oversight.
  • Ensuring customers are treated with the utmost respect and given the highest quality workmanship; ensuring customer satisfaction is maximized by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
  • Maintaining good communication, assisting throughout the process from technical measure through project completion, providing accurate measurements, assessments for labor/materials, and anticipated completion timeframes.
  • Recognizing situations that may impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and communicating solutions; performing installation inspection and reporting on quality of work.
  • Completing and submitting required job files that are complete, correct and timely providing a quality hand off to internal teams.
  • Scheduling projects utilizing best team skillsets for the installation.
  • Communicating with Customer Care Team for communication to homeowner.
  • Visiting job sites to ensure highest quality workmanship.
  • Providing leadership and management to assigned installation crews by providing information and direction, evaluating and managing performance, and encouraging employees to make decisions and solve problems within their technical expertise.
  • Communicating with installation crews on specifics for projects; providing advance notice of unique factors the crew will need to be aware of.
  • Reviewing job orders to ensure material styles, color, trim and other items are accurate and ready.
  • Assisting the Foreman in job planning and maximizing quality, quantity, and efficiency.
  • Working with Installation Manager and Customer Care Team identifying service call trends and recommending improvements; providing training and development to ensure service calls are minimized.
  • Working with Operations Manager in recommending improvements, providing training and development as necessary to maximize employee potential and ensure employee safety.
  • Providing ongoing training during on-site job visits, and establishing scheduled training for trending and consistent opportunities.
  • Filling-in as necessary to ensure work processes and production workflows are maintained.
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge, continually seeking opportunities to enhance skills.
  • Creating and supporting a safe work environment.
  • Providing positive feedback and recognition to show appreciation for a job well done and taking care of our customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
