Installation Lead/ Superintendent

We are looking for an Installation Lead / Superintendent who will provide on-site coordination for all phases of installation of metal fabricated projects from start to finish, including coordinating material from shop and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, work is proceeding on schedule and within budget, and safety is being strictly enforced. The Installation Lead is responsible for schedule, inspections, quality control, and job site safety. The Installation Lead is expected to coordinate an assigned crew in all aspects of various installation projects in the Middle Tennessee area, and across the country when necessary. The Installation Lead demonstrates the mechanical aptitude, mathematical and literacy skills necessary to ensure all people under his/her supervision perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Safety-focused leadership.
- Understanding of trade related materials, components, equipment, systems, methods of installations, safety procedures and safe work practices.
- Mechanical aptitude, mathematical and literacy skills.
- Authorization to work within the United States.
- Valid driver's license.
- Reliable mode of transportation to and from work (including jobs that are not located at our shop).
- Ability to submit to a background check prior to receiving an offer of employment.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site coordination for all phases of installation of metal fabricated projects from start to finish.
- Coordinate material from shop and equipment.
- Ensure that specifications are being strictly followed.

- Responsible for schedule, inspections, quality control, and job site safety.
- Coordinate an assigned crew in all aspects of various installation projects.
- Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, mathematical and literacy skills necessary to ensure all people under his/her supervision perform tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Teach and reinforce safety practices.
- React properly to incidents/violations.
- Communicate well with customer representatives, internal departments, and peers.
- Plan and schedule job assignments.
- Forecast material and equipment in advance to meet project requirements.
- Ensure necessary equipment is setup properly and filled with fuel.
- Drive, operate and maintain equipment.
- Read architectural plans and communicate with others involved in the design/fabrication/installation processes.
- Monitor labor and direct crew to meet project schedules.
- Provide strong leadership to assure the accurate and timely submission of all paperwork.
- Effectively run jobs of any type, with strong problem solving skills.
- Consult with upper management.
- Lead, mentor and train others.
- Perform other project related duties and assignments as needed.
