Lead installation crews across the East Coast, oversee complex propane system projects, and play a key role in delivering the infrastructure that powers businesses and communities. Hiltz Propane Systems has been designing, engineering, installing, and servicing bulk propane systems for retail, industrial, and commercial clients since 2011. Requirements

  • At least two years of leadership experience
  • Can direct crews in a construction, industrial, piping, or installation environment.
  • Can read schematics and detailed site drawings
  • Possesses strong mechanical aptitude.
  • Willing to perform hands-on installation work.
  • Has basic knowledge of propane or related equipment
  • Has completed CETP or equivalent propane industry training
  • Understands industry best practices.
  • Takes ownership of projects, follows through on commitments, and leads crews with confidence and consistency.
  • Prioritizes safe work practices, follows procedures, and promotes accountability on every job site.
  • Enjoys working outdoors, traveling extensively, and tackling unique projects in different locations throughout the East Coast.
  • Demonstrates hard work, integrity, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality work the right way.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead installation crews and direct daily job-site activities to keep projects safe, productive, and on schedule.
  • Oversee the installation of bulk propane systems, ensuring all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
  • Perform hands-on installation work, including piping layout, cutting, threading, welding, and equipment operation as needed.
  • Communicate safety expectations, conduct job-site hazard assessments, and promote a strong culture of safety.
  • Monitor project progress, maintain daily logs, and provide regular updates to supervisors and project management teams.
  • Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources to support efficient project execution.
  • Investigate and address job-site challenges, safety concerns, and operational issues in partnership with management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
