About The Position

The Installation Coordinator is responsible for managing and supporting the scheduling, coordination, and communication of residential flooring installation projects completed through contracted installation partners. This role ensures a seamless customer experience by overseeing project details, coordinating installation schedules, and facilitating communication between customers, installers, and internal teams. The Installation Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring projects are completed on time, within company standards, and to the highest level of customer satisfaction. Hours: Tuesday- Saturday from 6am- 3pm Full-time in office position Compensation: $23-25 hourly Location: 43rd Ave and Washington

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience in customer service, customer support, project coordination, scheduling, or a related field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, contractors, installers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to professionally manage customer inquiries, concerns, and expectations while delivering a positive customer experience.
  • Ability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and resolve challenges throughout the installation process.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and maintain accurate records.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn company-specific software systems.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using scheduling, project management, inventory management, or customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Previous experience in flooring, home improvement, construction, logistics, or installation coordination environments.

Responsibilities

  • Schedule flooring installations, customer appointments, and contractor activities to support efficient project execution.
  • Coordinate and manage project scheduling, dispatching, progress tracking, and completion in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers, installers, and contractors to ensure projects remain on schedule and any issues are promptly resolved.
  • Accurately document and maintain project records, ensuring all systems and accounts are updated with clear and current information.
  • Foster positive contractor and customer relationships to support successful project outcomes.
  • Monitor installation activity and drive installed revenue to meet forecasted sales and budget objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the installation process.
  • Collaborate with and provide support to other departments as needed.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
