About The Position

As the HVAC Install Technician at MacLellan, you are part of Best People. You will learn and utilize our Best Systems to install, replace, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems. You will work with a variety of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, as well as associated electrical, mechanical, and control systems. Because you are passionately committed to being the best, you take pride in quality workmanship, attention to detail, and completing installations safely and efficiently. You will work closely with our team and customers to ensure equipment is installed according to specifications, manufacturer requirements, and MacLellan's standards, producing Best Results.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and interpret equipment specifications, installation instructions, and mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to following all safety procedures and maintaining a clean, organized work environment.
  • Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and HVAC installation equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

  • 2–3 years of progressive, professional experience installing, replacing, or working with commercial or industrial HVAC systems and equipment preferred.
  • Experience with commercial HVAC equipment, ductwork, piping, refrigeration, and associated mechanical systems preferred.
  • EPA 608 Certification is preferred.
  • HVAC trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent technical training is a plus.

  • Install, replace, and commission commercial and industrial HVAC equipment and systems.
  • Work with a variety of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning equipment, as well as associated electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
  • Ensure equipment is installed according to specifications, manufacturer requirements, and MacLellan's standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work environment.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
