About The Position

Responsibilities will include installing, servicing, and repairing pedestrian power/automated doors and glass panels, and ensuring service is completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service. The individual in this role may also assist with outside sales.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required
Valid driver’s license required
Ability to operate power and hand tools
Ability to read and write English
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Customer service orientation and a strong work ethic
Ability to work hard with an eye for quality
Proper safety procedures, lifting techniques, and personal protective equipment are always required.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge and understanding of products, power and hand tools to complete required service and repair tasks a plus
Experience in outside sales is a plus
Previous experience in residential and/or commercial construction
AAADM certification a plus, but not required

Responsibilities

Installing, servicing, and repairing pedestrian power/automated doors and glass panels.
Ensuring service is completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Assisting with outside sales.
Using electrical, mechanical, and electronic skills.
Driving to the jobsite to assess customer’s service/repair needs and complete repair of the product to the customer’s satisfaction.
Consistently seeking and promoting opportunities for service, sales, and preventative maintenance contracts.
Acquiring knowledge of all products and pricing to price, market, and sell replacement products and repair parts.
Developing mechanical skills, learning new techniques, and remaining current with product requirements for installation materials to meet safety specifications and maintain quality workmanship.
Ensuring that service-related docs and timesheets are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
Collecting COD’s when applicable; solving problems with collections or scope of work changes.
Maintaining inventory on truck - all parts, part numbers, and part descriptions.
