Responsibilities

• Lead Installer will be responsible for installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning customers.
• Lead Installer will be expected to interpret construction drawings, schematics, and cut sheets in the field.
• Lead Installer will be expected to work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade: Residential Furnace, Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Commercial Rooftop; Ductwork, Condensate Drains, Venting, Refrigerant Piping, Gas Piping & Insulation; Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming; Other job/field related tasks as required: brazing, threading pipe, soldering, and welding.
• Must be competent in the preparation, testing and start-up of new HVAC equipment.
• Interface with customers in their homes and places of work and therefore must maintain an acceptable appearance and manners.
• Always explain the system to the client when finished with an installation and make sure that they are 100% satisfied with the work.
• Train installation assistants/helpers, teaching them to work independently for maximum installation efficiency.
• Always be safety conscious both on the job and while driving, and make sure that the assistant installer is also working safely and neatly.
• Report to and take direction from the HVAC Project manager and follow all established company policies and procedures.
• Install Helper will assist Lead Installer in installing new/replacement equipment and providing excellent customer service to residential and commercial heating and air conditioning customers.
• Install Helper will assist Lead Installer while learning to work on a variety of projects and tasks related to the HVAC trade: Residential Furnace, Air Conditioner, Heat Pump, Commercial Rooftop; Ductwork, Condensate Drains, Venting, Refrigerant Piping, Gas Piping & Insulation; Line and Low Voltage Wiring, controls, and programming; Other job/field related tasks as required: brazing, threading pipe, soldering, and welding.

• Report to and take direction from the Lead Installer who then reports to the HVAC Project manager and follows all established company policies and procedures.
