About The Position
Tater Farms is looking for a full-time Install Crew Member to join our growing team. This role is responsible for preparing job sites, installing high quality sod at residential and commercial properties, and supporting the crew with equipment operation and daily job execution. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, and comfortable working outdoors in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to be insured
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision
- Team oriented with strong communication skills
- Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods
- Physically able to lift up-to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks such as standing, bending, and kneeling
- Able to climb in and out of equipment regularly
- Takes ownership of work, follows through on tasks, and pays attention to detail
- Maintains a positive attitude, adapts to changing conditions, and prioritizes safety
Nice To Haves
- Experience with sod installation or landscaping
- Experience operating equipment such as forklifts or skid steers
- Experience pulling a gooseneck trailer
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Completing prep work at job sites including raking, shoveling, and removing old sod
- Installing sod at residential and commercial job sites
- Cleaning up job sites before leaving
- Operating forklifts, loaders, and other equipment safely
- Moving pallets using forklifts, loaders, or other equipment
- Following the daily install schedule
