About The Position

FLOFORM Countertops is seeking a Full Time Install Assistant for their Local Calgary Branch. This role involves assisting the Lead Installer in the installation of countertop orders for residential and commercial projects, ensuring high-quality installations that exceed customer expectations. Requirements

No experience necessary we will train the right person
Ability to handle challenging situations with diplomacy and respect
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality
Effective communication skills
Basic mathematical skills
Punctual and reliable with a positive attitude, solid work ethic, and good attendance
Possess a valid driver’s license with a clear drivers abstract
Required to pass a criminal record check
Be able to carry upwards of 100 lbs - 200 lbs assisted
Regular bending, twisting, and kneeling
Steel toed shoes required with a good attitude towards safety at all times
Local travel with occasional out of town travel
Be available to work overtime as required

Nice To Haves

Countertop Installation or construction experience is an asset

Responsibilities

Assists the installer with complete installation of countertops, while maintaining a professional demeanor
Assists cleanly removing the existing countertop and plumbing if required
Utilizing company equipment (company vehicle, power tools, other installation tools) to assist the Installer
Responds to customer inquiries and/or concerns while on the job site, alongside Installer
Troubleshoot technical problems related to the installation as they arise
Works as closely to the schedule as possible and contacts customer if running behind
Maintains Company vehicle interior and exterior to the Companies standards
Runs errands as they arise while on the job site (ex. pick up missing pieces or tools from shop)
Cross training on Jr. Installer tasks as training evolves and as needed
General labour duties in the shop, yard or offsite when required
Other duties as assigned
