About The Position

Instructional paraprofessional position at Lafayette Park Elementary, working 37.5 hours per week for 186 days (9.5 months). The role provides one-on-one and small-group support to students, including assistance with life skills, transitions, daily routines, and activities. The applicant should work well with school staff and students of all ages and be willing to participate in training. The position pays $14.25 per hour. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess, or be willing to obtain, one of the following qualifications to be highly qualified: a two-year college degree; a passing ParaPro Assessment score; 48 credit hours of college-level classes; a Childhood Development Associate (CDA) certificate; or Kokomo School Corporation Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Certification.
• Ability to work well with school staff and students of all ages.
• Desire and skills to support students with life skills and transition activities.
• Willingness to participate in training.
