About The Position

ARCXIS is hiring an entry-level Inspector to conduct inspections and energy testing on new homes. The role involves local travel to job sites and includes company-provided training and support to obtain required certifications and regional licensure. No prior experience is necessary. Inspectors may advance to management roles in other departments after training and certification. Applicants must be authorized to work for any U.S. employer.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Clean driving record.
Must be able to provide proof of employment for the previous seven years through a background check.
Must be currently authorized to work for any U.S. employer.
Self-motivated and driven, with reliable transportation.
Able to travel locally and work outside the office.

Construction or related experience.

Responsibilities

Conduct energy testing on new homes, including blower door tests, duct leakage tests, and other diagnostic tests to measure energy efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
Perform site inspections to ensure construction meets building codes and energy-efficiency standards.
Communicate findings and recommendations for improving energy efficiency to builders, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Maintain accurate records of testing and inspection activities.
Keep up to date with industry trends and regulatory changes related to energy efficiency and sustainability.
