About The Position

This role involves performing Quality Assurance inspection and release activities on Finished Good Medical Devices. This role is in a manufacturing and distribution warehouse setting interacting with the quality, operations, and engineering departments to achieve production plan goals.

Requirements

  • 0-1 Years with High School Diploma and/or Equivalent experience, training , or apprenticeships
  • Ability to read/write English (Must be able to record information on paper, electronically, and read/understand instructions written in English).
  • Basic computer skills, detail-oriented, focus-driven, and the ability to work in a dynamic team setting.
  • Must be able to lift boxes (up to 40lbs)

Nice To Haves

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree
  • Proficiency in Inventory, Manufacturing, and Distribution Software Systems (SAP, MES, Manhattan)
  • Solid understanding of quality concepts and procedures to perform inspection/release activities.

Responsibilities

  • Inspection of electronic/paper production order records and physical product to confirm conformance to specifications and procedure requirements.
  • Performing inventory software transactions (SAP/Manhattan Warehouse System/MES) to release product for distribution to customers.
  • Lifting and moving shipper boxes, bins and pallets of medical devices using material handling equipment (Manual and powered MHE forklifts).
  • Communicate and escalate quality issues via computer ticket systems and verbal/email communications.
  • Follow all Boston scientific procedures and general Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in a manufacturing and distribution setting.
  • Undergo and participate in audits from internal and external quality and regulatory agencies.
  • Performs other duties as required
