About The Position

Cannonball Recruiting is hiring an Inspector for a manufacturing facility. This second-shift position is part of a bargaining unit and includes a $2 shift differential. The Inspector dimensionally inspects parts using conventional measuring equipment and Laser Tracker technology to verify compliance with drawings and Engineering planning documents. Laser Tracker work follows detailed Engineering planning. In-house training is provided to use Faro metrology equipment, including the Faro Arm and Laser Tracker. The position may require a background check and/or drug screening before employment.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of industrial experience in machining and inspection of components.
• Ability to think in three dimensions.
• At least 1 year of experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
• At least 1 year of basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to work in a union environment.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of experience reading and understanding engineering drawings.

Responsibilities
