About The Position
Howmet is hiring an entry-level, full-time Inspector for its production environment in Barberton, Ohio. The role involves safely operating production equipment and inspecting wheels to meet quality and production targets. Training will be provided. The position is on second shift, 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., and pays $23.03 per hour plus a $1.00-per-hour shift differential.
Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or two years of work experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification is required at hire.
- Visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities
- Follow all safety procedures.
- Perform compliance checks and complete paperwork, documentation, and reports.
- Visually inspect wheels for defects or malformations.
- Ensure the quality of produced parts, including inspection of dimensional requirements according to the control plan and the overall appearance of parts.
- Participate in TPM activities.
- Ensure 5S requirements are met.
- Assist in solving identified problems in the department.
- Safely operate production equipment to meet quality and production targets.
