About The Position

The qualified individual will review products to ensure they comply with customer's requirements. This role involves maintaining specifications, approving finished products through various tests, and accurately documenting production records.

Requirements

• High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate).
• Capable of reading blueprints and their application to the production part.
• Knowledge of production processes.
• Able to read work process instructions.
• Able to use a tape measure, digital calipers, and a square to ensure the accuracy of work.
• Ability to determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do the required job (Equipment Selection).
• Ability to conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance (Quality Control Analysis).

Responsibilities

• Maintain specifications by observing operations, detecting malfunctions, inspecting parts and adjusting controls.
• Approve finished products by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and managing re-work.
• Ensure accuracy in maintaining production records such as quantities and types produced (e.g., travelers, timecards).
• Check parts to Quality Control Documents.
• Participate in all required training programs to maintain skill levels for continuous improvement.
• Successfully complete training program.
• Maintain good housekeeping practices in the work area and comply with all safety rules and procedures.
