About The Position

This individual is responsible for final and in-process inspection, packaging, and properly labeling all stock and custom products produced in the department. The role also involves operating packaging equipment, recording process data, moving and delivering finished orders, maintaining supplies and housekeeping, and meeting department performance and attendance standards.

Requirements

Ability to read and interpret work orders, production engineering blueprints, specifications, quads, and drawing appendix information.
Ability to perform in-process and final inspection and package products to specification.
Ability to set up, operate, and troubleshoot automatic turret rewind and packaging equipment.
Ability to accurately record data electronically or manually.
Ability to use computer programs and systems for labeling, transactions, email, and process data entry.
Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision and meet department performance standards.

Responsibilities

Perform in-process and final inspections, packaging products to specification for shipment of stock and custom-label products.
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot automatic turret rewind and packaging equipment.
Accurately record required data electronically or manually.
Package and move orders efficiently.
Deliver packaged and inspected products to finished goods.
Manage and stock packaging supplies as needed, and maintain department supplies at an optimal level.
Use computer programs and systems to create labels, execute transactions, send emails, and enter process data.
Maintain the work area through good housekeeping.
Perform daily duties with minimal supervision.
Meet department standards for quantity, quality, and timeliness of output.
Maintain attendance and punctuality at or above company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned by a supervisor or manager.
