About The Position
EMS, Thin Metal Parts has over 26 years providing quality precision parts. We have been successfully providing precision metal parts to many industries, including, but not limited to, medical, solar, electronics, defense, computer, and aerospace. EMS Thin Metal Parts is seeking an Inspector! This role involves inspecting parts through visual inspection and use of proprietary inspection equipment to determine the quality of parts.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge of / ability to learn TMP database system
- Demonstrable PC skills including Microsoft Excel.
- Able to read blueprints/drawings.
- Fluent English (written and verbal skills).
- Ability to work as part of a team or independently.
Nice To Haves
- Ability to use various tools such as a micrometer, vernier caliper, and drop gauge a plus.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, program and utilize proprietary equipment to inspect individual parts.
- Measure thickness of parts when required.
- Interface with multiple levels of company personnel.
- Accurately complete paperwork for each job.
- Fill in for operators in other areas when appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
