We are seeking a Construction Inspector for our client, OGS (Office of General Services for NYS). Requirements

Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of large-scale building/rehabilitation projects.
A minimum of 2 years' experience shall be as an Inspector on multi-contract projects.
OSHA 30
Must be authorized to work in the United States; Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

Experience working in a secure facility a plus.

Responsibilities

Under the direction of the Engineer-in-Charge, monitor/coordinate the daily construction activities amongst multiple contracts.
Ensure work is performed in accordance with the contract documents and approved construction management plans.
Document work progress, including all required quality control inspections and meetings.
Assist the Engineer-In-Charge and project team with job coordination meetings.
Coordinate with client agency contacts on a daily basis.
Comply with specific duties outlined in the construction procedures manual.
