About The Position
Wallenius Wilhelmsen is looking for an Inspector (PDI) who is passionate about ensuring quality standards are met. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with and around vehicles in a high-energy environment. The position is for the 1st shift, which runs from 6 am to 2 pm.
Requirements
- Good driving record.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Strong Attention to Detail.
- Able to walk and stand for much of the day.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Willing to work in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
- Inspect functionality of lights, doors, locks, windows, and other accessory items.
- Perform external/internal visual checks for damage, ensuring defect-free vehicles are sent to the next check.
- Perform function checks for every button, light, safety function, and other functions for each vehicle.
- Utilize a scanner to ensure correct pieces are placed in the vehicle.
- Install required labels.
- Work within a team setting to meet production and quality expectations.
