About The Position
The ComTran Group is looking for knowledgeable fiber Inspectors. This position requires walking, picture taking and interaction with the public.
Requirements
- Some computer skills and knowledge of Google Drive
- Ability to take clear photos
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work with crew members and the public in a professional manner
- Great driving record
- Must pass a background check and drug test prior to being hired
Responsibilities
- Inspect, police and close out packages for fiber new builds
- Watch and document crews installing duct and fiber
- Ensure traffic control is performed correctly
- Ensure crews stay within ROW and within permitting hours
- Ensure crews clean up before they leave a site
- Ensure no open holes
- Take pictures inside handholes of the fibers and sequential numbers
- Interact professionally with homeowners
