About The Position

The Inspector - Level 2 performs thorough inspections to support the reliability and safety of Honeywell products, prevent defects from reaching customers, and promote product integrity and customer satisfaction. The role inspects materials, components, and finished products for compliance with engineering drawings and specifications, documents findings, reports non-conformances, and works with production and engineering teams to address quality issues and improve processes. The inspector also maintains inspection equipment and ensures calibration standards are met. The annual base salary range is $48,000–$72,000. Honeywell considers factors including position scope and responsibilities, experience, education and training, skills, and market and business considerations when making offers. Candidates must meet the U.S. Person requirement for compliance with export control laws and regulations.

Requirements

Proven product-inspection experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with a strong focus on quality assurance.
Expertise using precision measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and optical comparators.
Strong knowledge of inspection techniques, quality standards, and documentation practices for compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.
Familiarity with quality management systems and inspection software tools for recording and tracking inspection data.
Must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree or technical certification in Quality Assurance, Manufacturing Technology, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in inspection roles within aerospace, defense, or industrial manufacturing sectors.
Knowledge of industry standards such as AS9100, ISO 9001, or similar quality frameworks.
Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address quality issues.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
