About The Position

As a Housekeeping Inspector/Supervisor at Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark, you'll lead with pride, ensuring every guest room, public space, and back-of-house area shines with impeccable cleanliness and attention to detail. You'll be the final touch in creating a flawless first impression for our guests, inspecting each space to uphold the resort’s high standards of excellence. Timber Ridge Lodge & Waterpark is the only all-season, all-suite, destination of its kind in the Midwest, featuring 50,000 square feet of year-round, indoor/outdoor waterpark excitement. It is located in historic Lake Geneva, just 90 minutes from Chicago and 50 minutes from Milwaukee. The property also boasts two championship golf courses, a spa and fitness center, a ski park, award-winning restaurants, and 1300 acres of grounds.

Requirements

• Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• Minimum six months of supervisory experience or one year of relevant housekeeping experience required.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft applications and Property Management Systems.
• Ability to read and write basic English for completing reports and forms.
• Capable of providing clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Able to exercise judgment and monitor staff performance effectively.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality, updating room status as needed.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and up to standard.
• Provide organization, guidance, and communication while reinforcing the resort’s high standards.
• Ensure housekeeping carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
• Inspect VIP rooms and randomly check rooms for quality compliance, reporting any maintenance issues.
• Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries, ensuring timely service.
• Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department.
• Report any suspicious activity or hazardous conditions to the Loss Prevention Department and respond to guest inquiries.
