About The Position
This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring machines as needed and notifying the Supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns. Responsible for recognizing, removing, and discarding systemic diseased birds and/or viscera packages, removal of parts due to disease and contamination, and removing birds from the line for reprocessing due to defects. Trimming disease and contamination from the product as necessary.
Requirements
- 100% use of hands, arms, feet, and back
- Standing 100% of the time
- Ability to use scissors or knives
