About The Position
This position is responsible for evaluating the quality of the product while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Responsible for monitoring machines as needed and notifying the Supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns. Responsible for recognizing, removing, and discarding systemic diseased birds and/or viscera packages, removal of parts due to disease and contamination, removing birds from the line for reprocessing due to defects. Trimming disease and contamination from the product as necessary. The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
Requirements
- 100% use of hands, arms, feet and back

- Must be able to use scissors or knives
- Follow directions and act quickly

- Must be able to use knife
