Inspector - Packing (3rd Shift)

Requirements
- Must be able to read standard/metric measuring tape.
- Must be able to perform basic mathematic calculations or standard metric measurements.
- Ability to work with all levels of employees.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Wrap and stack all finished slit rolls, in order to allow production employees to run machines with minimal down time
- Keep track of all packing supplies (e.g., boxes, roll cradles, and core plugs, etc.), and inform the Shipping Lead when reordering is necessary
- Load the wrapping station with proper supplies (e.g., boxes, core plugs, etc.)
- Assist Slitter Operators when able to do so
- Maintain work areas clean, assist with general housekeeping
- Operate bailer in a safe manner
- Assist slitter operators by cutting fiber and plastic cores
- Clean and deburr plastic cores
- Comply with all ProAmpac Safety, Quality, Operational and Employment policies and practices
- Day-to-day compliance with quality, food safety and prerequisite programs
- Daily cleanup of equipment
- Perform other duties as needed
