About The Position

The Inspector/Packer position will inspect, weigh, package, and sort out defective medical molded plastic components as required. This role requires excellent dexterity for manual assembly of small parts using hand tools, fixtures, and/or equipment, and sorting product for defects. A key part of the job is the visual inspection of product to ensure good quality, often using various types of magnification. The role also involves completing production records and work order documentation, as well as weighing, counting, packaging, and labeling finished product.

Requirements

• Able to read and understand procedures.
• Good hand/eye coordination.
• Able to access a computer and perform basic functions in Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with inventory management systems.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Clean room experience is required.
• Must be able to occasionally move and lift objects of up to 25 lbs.

• Previous experience desirable.
