About The Position
The Inspector Level II implements inspection processes and is certified in specific disciplines, with a detailed understanding of applicable codes and standards. The role is certified by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection for a given discipline under a specific quality management program. The Inspector Level II must have sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology and is responsible for evaluating and reporting the validity and acceptability of inspection and test results.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in an engineering, scientific, or construction-related discipline from an accredited college or university and 2 years of related experience, or 1 year of prior experience as a Level I Inspector.
- Knowledge of construction practices, including formwork, rebar, and concrete placing.
- Demonstrated skill and knowledge with applicable quality codes and standards.
- Certification in specific disciplines by an appropriate agency or organization to represent inspection under a specific quality management program.
- Sufficient practical background in applicable materials, fabrication, and product technology.
